Heading into this show with little sleep due to staying up til 5 a.m. the previous night bc of  Munchi going #HAM at Moombahton Madness may be considered an ill-advised move by most, but my excitement for what I predicted to be one for the books kept me going through the day. After HQ hosted a very special birthday pondepreparty, we treked out to the infamous Congress Theater for what turned into a night of fun with family and friends! (Mac & Smash, FratMusic, and others)

By the time everyone left HQ, traveled to Congress, went thru security (which gets an B+ rating this time around), and assembled together again, I was only able to see the last 20 minutes of Plastician’s set. Though I was only their a short time, the crowd was already breaking a sweat and hyped up due to the fresh to death tracks that were thrown down. Standout included:

Download: Burst ft. GMCFOSHO – 12th Planet, Skrillex, & Kill The Noise

Once the legends that are Skream & Benga took the stage, the night went into new realms of insanity right off the get go. The two went on a hour and a half mission of one upping each other track after track; with both dropping new bangers for the crowd to enjoy. As their set came to a close, the crowd was treated to one last sign of love as the duo stage dived into the arms of the fans. Standouts include:

Download: Crush On You (Knife Party VIP Remix) – Nero

Download: Killing In The Name Of (SebastiAn Remix) – Rage Against the Machine *ENDER

After jumping around like a manic for Skream & Benga set, it was time for the mayhem to increase further. I stated on twitter that Skream & Benga had ” just set the bar,” which I think Feed Me took personally and decided to hit us with an absurd amount of bass to the face for what seemed like an eternity. Not only did he drop every banger from his newest Escape From Electric Mountain EP, but  intrigrated some classic’s into his set as well. To close out the night, the UK native gave a special shoutout to the fan’s before ending the night proper with a well-done encore. Standouts include:

Download: Innocence (Original Mix) – Nero
