Almost two years after Megan James and Corin Roddick formed the group Purity Ring, we finally are nearing the summer release of their debut album, Shrines. The Canadian synth-pop duo have solidified a signature sound that is hard to compare to anyone right now, and this song only further proves that these two are the real deal. Producer Corin Roddick has created a Crystal Castles-esque synth beat, then adding Megan’s vocals and their signature low-pitched vocals to create an infectious summertime song. If you’re lucky enough to be in the Chicago area this summer, make sure to catch them at the Pitchfork Music Festival alongside A$AP Rocky and Feist.
