I’m so happy that through so blind internet stumbling I wound up coming across this teenage producing duo based out of Lancaster. Their soothing vocals drenched in moist textures, spiraling synths, and crisp clicks n’ snaps are reminiscent of the likes of garage geniuses like James Blake and Mount Kimbie. The past year seems to have been full of nothing but positive vibrations for Adam Kaye and George Townsend as their music is being so well received in the UK. Hopefully we’ll see them over here in the States soon enough. But start yourself out by checking out the pairs most recent twist of AluneGeorge’s ‘I Know You Like It’ and my recent favorite of theirs ‘Wet Summer’ that you can scoop for free off the guys soundcloud.

So this past week we saw the surfacing of †h∑ ß®º†h∑®$ †®¡¬¬, this being what is somewhat of a mini collective of producers all with the intentions of getting out the music that they are truly digging to the masses. According to Trill Clinton (one of the 3 †h∑ ß®º†h∑®$ †®¡¬¬) this is a big side project for all three producers to do without releasing their true names or other associations. With that being said, this week we’d like to introduce you to the producers that make up the dudes pushing out this trill ass beats for ya’ll.

:: Different Sleep ::

This San Diego born producer now living out in Chicago first caught my attention with his dreamily eerie clicks and vocal chops in his tune ‘What Y’all Know’. Rafa Alvarez brought those sounds back with some Shlohmo esq textures in his most recent ‘Next Time I See You EP’ that came out a few months back. But most recently this 19 year old producer dipped his toes in the ever boiling pot that is brewing the current trap game to give us ‘Turnt Up’ with the help of Soleman and Legoland a few weeks back. Alvarez is definitely one to look out for on the up and up. Be sure to show his tunes some love!

:: Decade! ::

To wrap up this weeks collection we have another real young producer who comes from Phoenix, Arizona; Decade!. Bryce Holt first started by producing hip hop but what we have seen most recently from this up and comer is a slew of moombah and some trap tracks chock full of whirling bass, lasers, and sexy hip hop samples. The moombah this dude is putting out brings the genre back to its mellow roots and is sure to get you groovin’ whether you’re out dancing in the street or gettin’ crazy in the office. So for you guys new to Decade!’s sound I’ll give you a little spritzing of what Bryce Holt has to offer thus far!
