Three up-and-coming acts in the electronic scene in Boulder got together recently to form a new group, and have been putting out tunes like crazy, this one being the fourth one out this week. The group call themselves “OG Status” and are comprised of Julian Garland (The Candyman, from Crushendo), Clark Smith (Dynohunter), and Colby Buckler (the drummer for Two Fresh). All four songs that the group has released are unique, combining elements of dubstep, trap, and more. “Velcro Shoes” is the best release so far, with multiple drops that ensure the track never gets repetitive. The group is playing their debut show tomorrow night at the Boulder Theater with Michal Menert, so make sure to get there early!
