cry wolf

If you haven’t downloaded Alt-J’s incredible debut album, do it now because not only are they one of the best breakout bands of the year, but it is one of the best albums released in 2012 period. North Carolina duo Cry Wolf clearly agree with that last statement because they took the best track from the album and tastefully reworked it. Too often is the case with songs I love that remixes don’t seem to fit, and I never see any reason to listen to them over the original. This is not the case with Cry Wolf’s latest track, as they don’t take the easy way out by merely adding another drum beat and building up into a dubstep drop, but instead retain the original structure while finding ways to seamlessly add in their style of melodic dubstep.
