Flying Lotus’ new album doesn’t come out until October 2nd, but that hasn’t stopped a myriad of artists from remixing the singles in anticipation of the release. Today two twins from Sydney, Australia got their hands on FlyLo’s collaboration with Erykah Badu and turned the jazz-infused single into a genre-bending track that keeps the old-time jazz vibe of the song while adding their own spin that sounds like something that could have come out of the UK dubstep scene. While the remix changes up the original greatly and is almost unrecognizable in the sample, the duo was smart in not trying to improve on Flying Lotus’ production but change it completely.
