Before I discovered MAU, I was pretty familiar with Summer Heart. They can be classified as a dreamwave, synth-pop producer that creates very atmospheric, spacey soundscapes and delicately places in samples, vocals, what-have-you. It was only fitting to have this remix from the five piece band MAU sound so perfect. I just recently discovered MAU, but their indie-dance/chillwave remixes hit the spot almost immediately. MAU takes Summer Heart’s original and spices it up for a more danceable track. Dreamy soundscapes still are alive and well within the tune but a more upbeat feel is given to the track with steel drum melodies and summery vibes…which is pretty hard to beat! Download and enjoy!
