Believe it or not, New York actually caught the Trap fever some time before the recent explosion, and Sliink‘s remix of the “Birthday Song” is a perfect example of the way it goes down here. NU JOISY trap is an even looser form of griminess and Sliink bids the original a RIP as he murders this one with bubblin’ bass that could cause involuntary booty spasms. Enjoy this one (and the mixtape he just put out via ClubTapes.com – see below) and we should all give a big thanks to Sliink for changing a corny classic to an anthem that could be bumped in any club in any city and kill. Join The Dankles NYC crew to watch DJ Sliink perform tomorrow at Slate, NYC (information on flyer above) alongside 20+ artists, featuring Joey Badass and the Pro Era crew (if you haven’t checked him out, please do, this kid is changing the game), Sleepyhead, Creamdream, Flubba, Sweater Beats, Figgy, Dunes, and Tony Quattro will be taking the decks. If you can’t make the event it will be streaming live via NOISE212.COM.
