Toucan is a Brazilian duo that has been making some seriously badass tracks for a few years now, blowing up in Southern America and worldwide. Their newest release entitled “Dusty MPC” came out today on Beatport and contains two originals and one remix that give off that sleazy deep g-house vibe. Coming out on B.U.B.B.A. and Chris James‘s new label “Runnin’ Wild” today, “Dusty MPC” continues the gangster dirty bass sound that the duo are known for. The first track off the EP, “Baby Love” starts out with some banging over-driven basslines typically found in B.U.B.B.A.’s production and sneakily breaks out into sporadic funky synth stabs. The second song, “Dusty MPC” is highlighted by g-house/R&B vocal samples and off beat synth-lines that creep up your spine. Following this is the JMX remix of the title track, which sees a more subdued and sexy version of the song. Below I have attached the “Dusty MPC” album, some other Toucan tracks, and other tracks released on the new “Runnin’ Wild” label highlighting their funky g-house sound. Already releasing beatport top tracks from Amine Edge & DANCE and Lee Webster, this young label is sure to make a serious name for itself.
