New Zealand’s brightest dropped a brand new one on us just moments before bed last night–although it was mid afternoon on the other side of the planet. This time, the young Cross Them Out teamed up with Texas’ Hubb for a roomy dowmtempo number that feels oddly reminiscent of The Glitch Mob‘s edIT‘s first effort, the phenomenal Crying Over Pros For No Reason. Although it’s hard to describe, the contribution from Hubb is definitely audible: It’s slightly more bare than a typical CTO number, but it’s atmosphere, tone, and stirring whisper-of-a-sample give it an inspiring vibe. “Mistakes” is yours below.
