Besides being one of The Dankles’ bases and providing a home to many, many of our favorite producers, there’s a big reason to be excited about Colorado. History was made last night when citizens of CO, along with Washington state, voted to decriminalize marijuana. It’s a wonderful step in the right direction, ending a nearly 50-year campaign to stop the pointless spending of millions of tax-payer dollars. But, while many of us celebrated last night in a very–how should I put this–predictable way, Boulder residents Big Gigantic raised a toast in the form of a brand new track.

Unsurprisingly, the number’s titled “Colorado Mountain High,” and with a looping, distorted sample of Lil Wayne spitting, “I’m mountain high, Colorado in this bitch with me,” it’s a excellent ode to an ever better state (the line is from Weezy, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga‘s “Young Money Roger”). Listen to and download the track below. The proper accompaniment to this tune should go without saying.
