Already a deep house classic, the 2010 banger by Art Department featuring Seth Troxler, “Vampire Nightclub,” has been re-vamped by young UK producer Max Chapman. Max has absolutely blown up recently, dropping material with the likes of NastyFunk Records, Hot Waves, and Lower East Records, just to name a few. Known for his elaborate basslines and diverse taste in sound, Max puts forth a remix that spans into several genres. Lighter than the original, the song starts off with an 808 beat, g-house samples, and a growling gritty bassline. After an eerie synth line lulls you in, Kenny Glasgow‘s ghostly voice kicks in and an extremely funky bass explodes almost out of nowhere. This track is an absolute dancefloor burner. But the best part: Max Chapman has released it free on his SoundCloud! Be sure to follow the young British producer, and check out the original “Vampire Nightclub.”
