If you’re unfamiliar with London’s Figures–not to be confused with the bass-heavy Figure–visit anyone of their social outlets and that will be cleared up in a matter of seconds. Their Facebook, Twitter, and SoundCloud all read: “They create atmospheric low-tempo electronic house music using analogue equipment.” They’re absolutely true to their word and the result is a collection of spaced-out melodies that, with the right implementation of grumbling synths, takes on a fun, subdued energy.

Their newest cut exemplifies this well, as they add a gentle rhythm and roomy textures to Young Colossus‘ chilled out cut, “Xhock”. It’s a perfect track for these analogue gurus to rework. Listen/download below, and be sure to check out their other tunes on SoundCloud and Last.fm.
