It’s hard to deny that Seven Lions had a big year in 2012. He essentially went from a small producer to racking up numbers among the best of them. I first discovered Seven Lions from a remix contest (that he eventually won), and that is where a lot of people first found out about progressive dubstep. A sound that goes deeper than the dubstep we know and has roots in trance and house. Build-ups are formulated and important and the drops causes cataclysmic repercussions. Seven Lions is pioneering a sound that few can reproduce. Download one of his earlier works right here.
