Have a different agenda for who you plan on seeing throughout the night? Check out the full schedule here.

Wolfgang Gartner

The first time I had the pleasure of seeing the Grammy-nominated producer was a few years ago at the Ogden Theatre, and every time I have seen him since he has greatly exceeded my expectations. Even people that had never heard of Wolfgang Gartner had smiles on their faces and were dancing with their partners the entire time, and the true Wolfgang fans were going nuts for his amazing original tracks and unique remixes. The only way to describe his shows are as a true dance party, as he knows exactly what to play to keep people moving from the first note of his set all the way to its end. Wolfgang is going to be a great way to start out this amazing night.

2012 was such a huge year for the Chicago duo known as Flosstradamus. I had seen them open for Matt & Kim a few years ago but they are a completely different group now then they were then- gone are the days of mash-ups and mediocre remixes, as they are replaced by some of the hardest trap music in the game today. It all started with their amazing “Original Don” remix that came out earlier this year, and they have been churning out hit after hit since then, concluding with the amazing X LP that came out a few months ago. Their live shows play like a best-of in trap, seamlessly mixing their own tracks with some of the biggest names in EDM, and it makes for one hell of a fun show.

My first time seeing the Chicago dubstep trio was at Global Dance Festival this summer, where they played the second stage up at the top of Red Rocks. Fast forward a few months and they were playing Red Rocks’ main stage, as an opening slot for Savoy. They have blown up from a relatively small name to one of the biggest acts in the genre now, and the energy at their live shows is untouchable. They are getting down to their music just as much as the crowd is, and that makes for an incredibly entertaining show where everyone is a part of it. I can’t wait to countdown to 2013 with these three amazing performers.

Zeds Dead

Headlining the Global Dub Arena is Toronto duo Zeds Dead, and we can’t wait for them to bring their heavy style of dubstep back to Colorado. Last time they were here, they threw down my favorite set of the night at Global Dance Festival, playing all their hits from “Eyes on Fire” to “Rude Boy.” When they dropped “Undah Yuh Skirt” at the main stage, Red Rocks was more energetic than I’ve ever seen it and every person was on their feet jumping, even after dancing at the festival for hours. There’s sure to be more of that at Decadence, as it is nearly impossible not to get into the music these two are feeding to everyone’s eardrums when you’re at one of their shows. Make sure you save some energy because you’re going to want to be gettin down to Zeds Dead until two in the morning.
