Drum and bass is something that The Dankles tends to neglect every once in a while, and we’d like to apologize for this.  We try our best to be as well-rounded as possible, so here’s an excellent drum and bass tune, you’d be a fool not to give this one a listen even if drum and bass isn’t exactly your thing.

Fred V & Grafix (born Fred Vahrman and Josh Jackson) have been working together for more than five years and signed to the UK’s Hospital Records at the end of 2011.  They’re most certainly making their mark on drum and bass with innovative sounds that you don’t normally hear in the genre.  Fred’s guitar work is often spliced into their electronic originals, adding another incredible factor to their music.  After listening to some of their music you might find yourself thinking about the bands This Will Destroy You and Explosions In The Sky.  While yes, their music is bass heavy, their influences seem to come from bands like these.

Fred V & Grafix premiered their new track “Games People Play” today via Annie Mac’s long running Free Music Monday on her SoundCloud.  She’s always premier fantastic tracks and this one is no exception.  “Games People Play” has been taken from an upcoming EP that’s due out on March 11th.
