There’s been lots of negative buzz surrounding MTV’s “Hottest MC’s in the Game” list this year, which sent Kanye on one of his famous rants. One of the vocal opposers is Danny Brown, who sounded off on Twitter today, claiming how it is making the industry overly competitive and that there’s not lists like this for any other genre of music. While most artists just complained about it on Twitter though, Danny Brown took to making a new track called #HottestMC, a Harry Fraud-produced track that disses the MTV list that he was left out on. The song sees Danny Brown back to his Hybrid days, reserving his high-pitched whacko voice and keeping his voice low so you can hear every lyric. He made this track in an hour, so imagine how amazing his new album Old is about to be (this song isn’t included on it).
