These days, it seems like it’s all about collaborations.  Skrillex and Boys Noize teamed up for Dog Blood.  Mr. Oizo and Boys Noize started Handbraeks.  Lunice and Hud Mo on that TNGHT tip.  Every original you’ve heard recently also features a couple people on the track.  Collaborations in the music industry are everywhere.  The list goes on too, but the newest big collaboration on the scene is Zoolydamus (FKi & Flosstradamus).

FKi (pictured above), an Atlanta duo, has been on the trap and bass tip since before the electronic dance trap movement started.  They’ve produced tunes for Ludacris, Iggy Azeala, Juciy J, Travis Porter and many more.  Then we have Flosstradamus on the other side of this track.  If you’ve been a fan of The Dankles for a while, you probably know all about them by now.  Whether you find their trapstyle “edits” legitimate or not, this duo helped cultivate a brand new scene through one remix.  This new one “Where That Dank” focuses it’s melody around the big sounds of the horns.  Pitched down vocals, samples from bong rips and a funny well placed “Damn Son, Where’d You Find This” sample all make this tune come together.  Listen to this one and let’s hope for more from Zoolydamus in the future!
