Just the other day we unveiled who the lucky winner of our Minnesota ‘Stardust Redux’ remix contest was to great applaude and today we are continuing the trend by bringing you guys the finalists in our other Samples remix contest! After having a few weeks to remix and rework Ben Samples heavy hitting bass tune ‘Corporate’ it’s just about the time we congratulate the winners properly. The criteria for the contest were simple; remixes which fit the style of Samples, MalLabel and The Dankles were preferred – Trap, Glitch Hop, Dubstep, House, etc. Participants worldwide were welcome to enter as long as they were ages 16 or older and not bound under an exclusive contest with a record label. After 20 submissions and thousands of votes from you viewers out there we are finally left with three finalists and one additional winner that was chosen by Samples himself. As most of you may already know the winner and the runners up will have the chance to see their remix featured on Samples upcoming B Side of his forthcoming “Life of the Party Remixes” and even be added to the MalLabel artist roster!! Without further adue we would like to announce that RSK & Get Nasty, Octopod, and HOBBZ are the winners of the fan vote and Paradigm Theorem‘s remix was hand selected by Samples himself to also be included. Every one of these producers truly brought ‘Corporate’ back to the chopping block and came forth with a wildly unique remix. We would like to give one last special thanks to Samples, MalLabel, and Womstreet for collaborating on this project; we hope to have to opportunity to give you producers more chances like this in the future. Until then enjoy the assorted flavors from the finalists and a big thanks goes out to everyone who competed!!
