MIA TEASER 2012 sm from Maya Fan on Vimeo.

The world is a sick and twisted place and sometimes the truth can be hard to handle so they ignore it.  Ignorance is bliss right?  Well, you probably won’t want to ignore this.

This is what happened to a kid whose dad went off and became a terrorist.

M.I.A. is known for her controversial tracks and music videos.  She’s pushing the limit, and well, why not?  She is expressing her freedom of speech rights and speaking out against what’s obviously wrong.  In this five minute trailer we get a taste of what would really be an awesome documentary on a (still) rising and foreign star.  Steve Loveridge uploaded the trailer that he said, “was made to show Interscope what the documentary would feel like” in 2012.  Unfortunately, it sounds like the documentary he been met with considerable resistance and it’s unlikely we will see a finished product.  BUT, good news is that M.I.A. was filming for a new project at Pitchfork a couple weekends ago!

We know this trailer and subject came to light earlier this month, but why not give the video another avenue for exposure.
