Before Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” went viral and nearly a year after it was released, Baauer and Just Blaze released the track “Higher”.  Well today the track, featuring JAY Z, got an official release and video.  The music video (titled a “short-film”) was directed by Nabil and features a gang of young kids in a make-shift ‘coming-of-age’  resistance story.

Though the video doesn’t feature any of the artists, it does keep the viewers attention the whole way through with visually stunning cinematography.  In a tropical location a gang of kids form a band of warriors with home-made weapons mimicking their older, more experienced counterparts.  In a final showdown against a drunken man, the kids man an unexpected move to take him down.
