Nothing like new Zeds Dead!  The Tornoto duo are still relatively fresh off the heels of their Altered States EP (read more and listen) released in June and are getting ready to tour Europe and then hit the states for a massive tour this fall.  Zeds Dead has been on a bit of a release binge.  First they debuted their remix for Nina Simone last month, then a massive summer mix not long after, and finally an updated ‘Meow version’ of their massive tune “Ratchet“.

Needless to say, it has been a busy month for the duo, but we’re not complaining.  You can be sure that Zeds Dead will always deliver fresh bass-heavy tunes, and  “Jericho” featuring production from fellow Toronto native is Memorecks, is no different.  Opening the track is the soaring soulful vocals of the classic “Walls Came Tumbling Down”.  Then suddenly we jump to future style bass-heavy breaks followed by even heavier.  The first drop isn’t my favorite, but the second drop, woah…I’ll let you listen for yourself.
