Every single song on this album is infatuating; I listened to this stream when I awoke before classes today and found myself incapable of getting these songs out of my head. Lorde’s talent is undeniable as she possess a magnetizing voice much more dynamic than I would expect from someone at such a young age. I would consider most of her production as minimalist, focusing on vocal aspects. Lorde displays a mastery of vocal effects such as echoes, pitched down vocals, and other effects are have me completely captivated and lulled. This album is one that flows almost seamlessly among tracks and has wet my palette to await more releases from this irresistible young vocalist. This album has a release date of September 30.
