Another - Ali Love

As time goes on, one starts to wonder if there’s anything Ali Love can’t do. The producer / vocalist has had quite the year, providing his pipes for the group Hot Natured as well as being half of the duo Infinity Ink along with Luca C. Love has also lent his vocals to many other artists, perhaps most notably on Justice‘s song “Civilization”.  The London based producer has also managed to find time to announce his upcoming album, which will serve as a follow up to 2010’s “Love Harder”. Back in March, Love teamed up with artist Kali to release his single “Emperor”, which continues to stay on the radar of many DJs. Most recently Love has released the first taste of his sophomore album with the single “Another”; a stellar dancefloor track in every sense which leaves you wanting more. The track has already received early attention from artists such as fellow Crosstown Rebels artist Damian Lazarus and Danny Tenaglia. Love has certainly grown over the years, translating his signature electro pop vocals into a darker sound. Love describes the song as, “a four to the floor beat with glitchy percussion and distinctive psychedelic vocals”. Stylistically “Another” is highly reminiscent of an old school Chicago house track, but Love’s vocals allow it to take on something more.  It’s a song of heartache and betrayal in which the listener feels all of Love’s emotions as they echo over every haunting tone and melody. It’s a deep and bass heavy track that allows its audience to be swept up and carried along with it. While the album won’t be out until next year, the single is set to release via Crosstown Rebels in October, with remixes provided by Tuff City Kids and Chicago’s own legendary Felix Da Housecat. Check it out below and stay tuned on its release here.
