When you’re laying in bed sick with mono, finding the motivation to get up and do anything is no easy task. Luckily, in the midst of midterms, Xilent found it for me in his remix of “Come Back Down” by Mediks. This powerfully energetic remix, driven by tantalizing and dreamy vocals, is intercepted perfectly by Xilent’s signature dystopic bass. Xilent’s remix of “Come Back Down” will resonate with anyone who takes their motivation heavy.

UK producer Xilent is a figurehead of modern dubstep: Katy Perry personally requested he remix her song “Wide Awake”, and in 2011 his track “Choose Me II” was nominated as “Top Dubstep Track of the Year” by Beatport – alongside tracks from Feed Me, Skrillex, Nero and Porter Robinson. Of course, he shows no signs of slowing down now. Just listen to this remix and you’ll understand. “Come Back To Me (Xilent Remix)” is available to purchase now on Beatport and October 20th on iTunes on Medik’s Cannibals EP.
