Our friend and Denver local, Andy Immerman, is back with a new remix that you don’t want to miss. You may recognize Andy Immerman’s name from the couple of mixes we’ve been fortunate enough to release on his behalf. The first was a chillwave-oriented mix for our weekly series Sunday Music Relief. The second was Summer Mixtape that where Andy explored a vast variety of genres and styles with a track selection that should intrigue any listener. Both mixes are excellent lazy Sundays or late-night car rides. Today we have a new remix from Andy, and it might be his most controversial yet (just by association). You’ve probably never heard Miley Cyrus quite like this. In Andy’s signature fashion he uncovers “Wrecking Ball” with the smooth touch of chill wave sounds. He’s known for creating an atmosphere of sound where the listener is engulfed in delicate percussion and flowing synth-work that will leave you in a trance you can’t escape. If Miley makes you cautious, forget what you know about her and give this a try, it’s certainly not what you’d expect. Grab the track below as a free download and check out more of Andy Immerman’s music on SoundCloud.
