Julia Losfelt, a Parisian producer, vocalist, art director and founder of new-comer label Moose Records has just dropped her debut release.  Though Moose Records is only a year old, they’ve come far in such a short time and solidified a sound that is universally backed.  Julia received her first bit of attention from carefully crafted covers of Kid Cudi and Brian Eno and features on recent Andrea releases.  Since then she’s released a couple of massive singles and another cover of Mount Kimbie’s “You Took Your Time.  The Quiet Storm EP is Julia’s first official release and after listening it couldn’t have come at a better time. Her talent as a producer and singer really shines through on this release.  The release is meant to be one cohesive piece, so listen but don’t skip around, you’ll find something you love on each and every track.

Not only is this EP a wet-dream for emotion-driven electronic fans, it features three remixes from artists you need to know.  We’re talking about remixes from Stwo, Dream Koala and Bear//Face.  All three fit into this exact sub-genre of weird bass-music and fit perfectly on Quiet Storm.

Purchase Quiet Storm for just a few dollars on Moose Records Bandcamp and support this small label!
