Ruthlessly intensifying the heat of this past summer, Baauer and R.L. Grime’s, Infinite Daps [summer] Tour, provided a brief yet sweltering taste of what an inevitable collaboration between trap’s hottest producers will sound, look, and feel like. We knew it would be hot, and it most certainly is. The Infinite Daps tour featured back-to-back headlining sets from Baauer and R.L. Grime, with the ever popular Ryan Hemsworth and Jim-E Stack setting the mood with opening sets. Sauna-like sold out shows weren’t the only result of the Infinite Daps Tour. Late nights spent bouncing unique sounds back and forth within the confines of their tour bus resulted in Baauer and R.L. Grime’s first official collaborative track, “Infinite Daps”.
Oh, there’s more. For those that were unable to experience the Infinite Daps Tour, and for those who’d like to relive the insanity; apprehensively praying that their antics weren’t captured on film, we present the tour’s own documentary. The latest exposé on electronic music’s rising artists features a comprehensive look at four semi-introverts that know how to party (weird right). The mini-documentary offers a humanizing look at four friend’s life on the road while conjuring nostalgic memories of boisterous summers past.
