Scottish musical mastermind Hudson Mohawke is the latest artist to release a free track with Glasgow-based record label LuckyMe. To celebrate their extremely successful artists and loyal fans, LuckyMe is providing the public a LuckyMe online advent calendar of free music, leading all the way up to Christmas day.  “Structure”, the HudMo track that crashed LuckyMe’s site due to its high download rate, is a sexy trap-style track, showing off Mohawke’s signature simplistic electro sound, with Shamz Le Roc‘s aggressive rapping (and moaning) over the skeletal beat. This song is a perfect example of the kind of sound Hudson Mohawke has been putting out this year. Between collaborating with fellow LuckyMe labelmate Lunice as the trap duo TNGHT and producing tracks for Kanye West‘s “Yeezus” album, Hudson Mohawke has had a tremendous 2013. “Structure” is the perfect way to close out a monumental year for the Glasgow-born artist, combining the hip hop influences and electronic elements of HudMo’s style into one anticipation-inducing banger of a track. Best of all, “Structure” is available for free download off of LuckyMe’s website, so you can cop this hot tune for yourself.
