As you may or may not know, Star Slinger has been ramping up for the end of the year with a series of four edits.  All of which are inspired from Star Slinger’s favorite divas, and New Years Eve marks the four and final edit in the series.  A track composed from samples of Ella Fitzgerald.  Previous edits were inspired from the likes of Anita Baker, Sade and Erykah Badu.  Each track has a similar vibe and style.  Simple r&b flavors accent each track while Star Slinger’s effortless production lends a refreshing reboot to each tune.  While these are just edits, you may recall Star Slinger’s first single from his upcoming album that is due out in 2014.  A track titled, “Free” that follows along the same lines as these edits.  If these edits and “Free” are any indication, the new album will certainly be a fun, danceable and carefree listen that many will enjoy and repeatedly come back to.  For now, download all four of the edits and start your New Years preparations with these tracks.
