At the ripe young age of 19, Sebastian Carter is already producing emotive, evocative tunes way beyond his years. His latest release reworks Emily Underhill‘s “Ghost” into a textured, chilled out tune with winter vibes written all over. Sebastian re-works Emily’s lush vocals into a deep, reverb laden journey, with prominent Deep House and UK garage influences. The verse preserves the original vocal work, while the drop presents an aptly bouncy bass line and tastefully chopped and arranged vocal cuts. A smattering of orchestral strings also work there way into the tune – creating a brooding, reflective atmosphere. Sebastian Carter seems to have already found his sweet spot; this is a remix that would work as well in the club as it would in a more relaxed listening environment.
