Chance The Rapper has an ability to alter any track and make it his own.  He did it over, “Life Round Here”, by James Blake, and he’ll do it again. This time around Mapei’s innovative and charming single, “Don’t Wait”, was selected to be transformed into another one of Chance’s unique experiments. Now don’t get me wrong, the original is inimitable; full of funk-pop beats that facilitates Mapei’s rare tone. However, a completely different vibe surfaces when Chance does a little reworking. He slows down the instrumentals and deepens the bass, which makes his tone seem effortlessly devised.
