The latest “Acid Crunk” edition of Re:Up Wednesday’s featured: An-ten-nae, Atomic Reactor, SoDown. Boulder native SoDown kicked off the night dropping dubstep tracks left and right that really got the crowd grooving. He even dropped one of my personal favorite “Lies (Zeds Dead) remix”, I just couldn’t stop singing along! A great blend of vibes were present from dubstep, to glitch-hop, and hard funk. A great way to start the night off, be sure to keep an eye out for SoDown’s new EP coming out very soon. Atomic Reactor was next on the decks; his glitched out beats started to slowly rattled the walls, preparing us to enter a “high-powered fission chamber firing particles of glitch.” Those glitch particles where just what we needed to get ready for An-ten-nae. By the time Atomic Reactor was finishing up the heavily packed crowed was ready for An-ten-nae to take us down the rabbit hole. Quickly falling down the heavy acid crunk hole of bass, we couldn’t help but lose control! He transformed the danced floor to a small bay area night club that had our heads nodding, hips swinging, and elbows flying as people yearned for more of his acid crunk vibes. His two hour set was filled with tracks from his entire catalogue and by the end everything we found ourselves crawling out of this rabbit hole wondering why it had to end. After this first time performance at 1up we all hope to see him back very soon! Make Sure you’re here next week for Andreilien, kLL sMTH and Marcelo Moxy.
