The University of Colorado in Boulder certainly knows how to get kids excited for school. The infamous Welcome Fest concert has featured artists such as Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, Ghostland Observatory, and Krewella in past years. This year’s event was headlined by CU students bearsohmy, EOTO, and Kill Paris. New and returning students alike gathered on the picturesque Farrand Field against Boulder’s trademark mountain backdrop to celebrate the end of the summer with a proper rager.

As if my school isn’t already awesome enough, the performance was punctuated by an exciting announcement: Kygo and Chance the Rapper are throwing down at the university’s Bach Fieldhouse on October 1st. Later that month, Skrillex is scheduled to shake the school. Tickets for both events are on sale to the public now.
