This talented artist out of Brooklyn, NY tossed us his latest edit of Louis Armstrong’s ‘Go Down Moses’ and we are sure plenty of you will be anxious to grab yourself a copy once you dive in. If Jackson Whalan has yet to surface on your radar it’s about time you delved in to some more material this multifaceted artist. Jackson spreads his talent around throughout many different outlets, from producing, to rapping, and performing. It’s always great to see when an artist doesn’t keep himself confined to a certain realm of creation because you can truly see all of their colors flow. On top of everything else we have previously listed Jackson is also the co-founding member of the live electronic hip-hop band Technicolor Lenses, another Brooklyn based act. In this remix we are dealt quite the variety of vibes. Jackson opens things up with a light ambient soundscape that slowly unfurls into a rolling jazz melody rinsed with vocals from the original.
