For those of you that like to start your weekends extra early you are probably already well informed of the massive concert series that has taken over the 1up on Colfax Wednesday nights. Anyone that hasn’t yet experienced one of these awesome events it’s about time you took a look at their upcoming schedule and get yourself down to one of these RE:UP Wednesday parties! Thanks to Euphonic Conceptions and Souls in Action we have been gifted gig after gig of talented artists from all reaches of the sound spectrum. This past Wednesday they brought out the local Colorado talent of Late Night Radio, Krooked Drivers, Casual Commander, and their resident artist Milky.Wav. As has been the case for the past few weeks Milky.Wav got the party started with a cherry picked set of uplifting future beat rhythms before Kevin Donahue of SunSquabi took the stage to woo the crowd with his side project Casual Commander. While he got the crowd grooving with some funk infused bass vibes the 1up quickly began to fill as people began to get antsy for home town heroes Krooked Drivers and Late Night Radio blasted things into the stratosphere. After Casual Commander wrapped up his set Donnie Dalbora and Maddy O’neal of Krooked Drivers began to unleash the heat on the now packed venue. Before you knew it the whole place was getting down to their tasty electro soul vibes! As Late Night Radio worked into his set just after midnight you could truly feel the energy from everyone packed into the 1up and it was a truly amazing experience. He laced his set with a heaping helping of original material and completely blew the roof off the place. If this isn’t enough to make you wanna check out the next RE:UP Wednesday showcase than do yourself a favor and take a peek at next weeks bill. We will be seeing Ana Sia, Lusine, Keeplove, and Milky.Wav rock the house with a smorgasbord of bass fueled rhythms for your listening pleasure. If you are a little unfamiliar with any of this talent be sure to turn your eyes to the bottom of the post where we have slipped in a little bit of their material!
