Fans of wonky glitched out bass music are soon to be rejoicing once you dive into the latest release from Bay Area crunk maestro Mochipet. This talented producer dropped his first release of 2015 earlier this month in the form of a brand spankin’ new EP. ‘Psilocybin Samurai’ is a raucous four track conglomeration that is sure to have you pasted into your seat. Buckle yourself in before you give this new one a spin because it is bursting from the seams with bouncing, intergalactic, bass vibes that are sure to leave a smile on your face. We recently were fortunate to catch Mochipet throw down a little vs. set with his homie The Flying Skulls out in Tucson, AZ at the annual Gem & Jam music festival and god damn did they bring the heat! We suggest bumping this through the best sound system you have at maximum volume to get a slight idea of the chaos that was blasting forth from the sound system that night. It has been a little while since we have seen new material surface from this talented artist but we can now see that it was well worth the wait. Each track on ‘Psilocybin Samurai’ is truly appetizing and even though its only a four track release it is truly a filling serving of undulating bass music. If you’re feeling this EP as much as we have been lately we highly suggest following the link below to grab yourself a free copy over on his Bandcamp.
