Last week Colorado was treated to a string of three Papadosio shows that signaled the beginning of their current Fourshadows tour! The boys started the weekend early by taking over the Belly Up in beautiful Aspen, CO for an intimate Thursday evening. As devout fans embarked on a journey into the mountains no one was quite sure what to expect as the web was abuzz with ideas of what this tour would embody and how they would kick things off. What we were gifted with was an eclectic set riddled with fan favorites and old school gems. Being able to see any band in the small and personal expanse of the Belly Up is always a treat and it was no surprise that Papadosio was playing to a sold out crowd that evening. As The Malah got the crowd warmed up you could truly feel the energy building in the air. Rather then taking a break to deliver us two sets they played right on through and dazzled the crowd with a variety of added segments throughout each song that left many people wondering what they had in store for the rest of the weekend.

On Friday, things got ‘experimental,’ to say the least. Yamn absolutely crushed it, and following the stage shortly after, Dosio’s performance soared far above everybody’s expectations. We got to hear a solid balance between electronically twisted creations and an organic, acoustic melody. Let’s just say that the sensory overdrive of the evening was nothing less than divine. Yet again they busted out a great variety of material that included everything from newer material to songs much further back in their catalogue.

As fans took in a nice spring day in Fort Collins you could tell everyone was patiently biding their time for the third and final show of the weekend. After the previous two evenings it was clear that everyone knew we would be in for a treat that evening. The day drew to a close and night took hold as fans began to line up outside the Aggie Theater to be treated to the last show of this most recent Colorado run. The venue filled up quickly as everyone showed up a little bit earlier to secure a good vantage point for the evenings events. That night The Malah was back again to strut their stuff and get the blood flowing before Papadosio took the stage and man did they do an amazing job. Once again the crowd was electric with excitement as they took the stage and delivered us another dreamy slew of songs that left everybody reeling.

To put it bluntly the boys kicked their Fourshadows tour off with a bang! After three amazingly intimate nights with Papadosio we can only imagine what else they will be treating fans to on the rest of the tour. Since last week Minneapolis and Milwaukee have witnessed the bliss of the Fourshadows tour while Lafayette, IN is about to have their minds blown this evening. Be sure to scope the remaining dates below and grab your tickets ahead of time! All three Colorado shows sold out and I would be surprised if most of these didn’t as well. In addition to this tour the guys are also in the midst of raising funds to produce their fourth studio album which is due out at the end of the summer. Any little bit counts, they are well on their way to meeting their goal so be sure to keep an eye on the progress and their Facebook for the latest news on things to come.
