Nero will be kicking off their tour in Chicago for their first performance since the release of their sophomore album, Between II Worlds, on September 11th. The trio consisting of Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson have created a beautifully crafted concept album that takes Alana’s vocal melodies center stage with an electronic rock approach. Some may gripe over the fact that the album is not a mirror of their first album, Welcome to Reality, but more of a 1980’s feel while encompassing the Nero signature aesthetic. With that being said, Between II Worlds still reached number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic albums and number seventy-three on the Billboard 200, making the album and live show definitely worth your while. This Friday, October 2nd, you can catch Nero at Concord Music Hall presented by React Presents. Unfortunately, the entire Between II Worlds album is not released on SoundCloud, but you can listen to the whole thing on Spotify and purchase on iTunes! For now, peep their essential mix released on September 12th and a preview of the album below. Enjoy!
